Welcome to the Herd

Description

This little foal at the end of this group of mares is the newest member of the Black Mountain Herd in the Owyhee Mountains of Idaho. These mares belong to the Band Stallion Titan. This little filly has a lot of growing to do quickly as she and her band and most of the other bands on this range are scheduled for removal by the BLM starting on September 9th. We are not happy about this but fingers crossed they all get safely rounded up and the BLM will come to the table with us and let us help with on-range herd management as they do with the Challis Herd already.
